    What’s working

This snapshot was generated automatically from your sample using the same rubric as the full audit. It is indicative, not a verdict. The full 100-point audit reviews your complete manuscript against all 23 criteria. Every deducted point comes with a quoted example from your book and a specific fix, in a prioritized roadmap. Human-reviewed PDF report, delivered within 72 hours.

The rubric is weighted toward the thing readers actually punish in reviews: text that could sit in any book on the topic. Voice carries a quarter of the score.

    Writing fiction?

ManuScore currently audits non-fiction. A fiction rubric is on the roadmap: voice, pacing, dialogue, and the AI-tell patterns reviewers flag in novels. Leave your email to get first access when it opens.

    Questions

    FAQ

    Is my manuscript confidential?

Yes. Your sample and manuscript are used only to produce your audit. They are not published, shared, or used for anything else. See the privacy policy for details.

    Who actually reviews the audit?

The scoring pipeline is AI-assisted, and every full audit is verified by a human editor before delivery: each quoted piece of evidence is checked against your manuscript, and flagged factual claims are spot-checked. Nothing ships unverified.

Do you rewrite or “humanize” the book for me?

No, and that's deliberate. ManuScore is a diagnosis, not a ghostwriting service. The report shows every weak spot, quoted from your own text, with a specific fix for each. You keep full authorship of the changes.

My book is fiction. Does the rubric still apply?

Not yet, and pretending otherwise would break the honesty this service is built on. The rubric is made for non-fiction (how-to, self-help, guides), so scoring a novel against it would give you a misleading number. Fiction samples get a polite "not scored" instead, and a fiction rubric is on the roadmap: join the waitlist for first access. Memoir and narrative non-fiction are scored, with a note on which checks to read as indicative.

    What happens after I pay?

You get an intake form: upload your manuscript, paste your current Amazon listing (if published), and answer a few honest questions about how the book was made. Your scored PDF report arrives within 72 hours.

What if the audit finds my book is already strong?

Then the report says so, plainly. The rubric rewards strong manuscripts, and honesty in both directions is the whole point. You'll still get any deductions that exist, quoted and located, no matter how few.
